At a ceremony held in the Rector's office, Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman Kızıltoprak presented accreditation documents to the Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics departments of the Faculty of Science and Letters. Specifically, the Chemistry Department received a renewal of its accreditation, while the Physics and Mathematics departments were awarded accreditation for the first time by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Academic Programs in Science, Literature, Science-Letters, and Language-History-Geography Faculties (FEDEK).

During the ceremony, the accreditation certificate was presented to the Head of the Chemistry Department, Prof. Dr. Zafer Üstündağ. Additionally, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Letters, Prof. Dr. Bülent Zeybek, and to the Deputy Heads of the Chemistry Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Halil İlkimen and Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Aksun Baykara, in recognition of their significant contributions to the successful completion of the accreditation process.
