Learning Objectives of the Chemistry Program

LO1 To provide theoretical and practical knowledge supported by up-to-date textbooks, laboratory tools, and other resources in the field of chemistry, and to develop the ability to use this knowledge.

LO2 To develop the ability to design and conduct experiments, collect data, analyze, and interpret results for the investigation of problems related to the field of chemistry.

LO3 To foster an awareness of the necessity of exhibiting a positive attitude towards lifelong learning and to enable students to understand the need to continuously improve their knowledge and skills in chemistry and technology.

LO4 To communicate effectively in Turkish, both in writing and orally, on chemistry-related topics; to possess a level of foreign language proficiency sufficient to follow information related to their field and communicate with colleagues.

LO5 To have a sense of professional responsibility and ethics.

LO6 To have sufficient awareness of social security rights, occupational health and safety, quality management, entrepreneurship, cultural values, and environmental protection, and to understand the need to use this knowledge for the benefit of society.

LO7 To possess an adequate level of general culture (native language, foreign language, history, etc.).
